Financial Literacy
for kids

with none of the boring stuffAsset 4

Wizziwoos Kids Clubs teach children about money.
We make finance FUN through our unique M.I.M.I.C formula.

It'snever too earlyor too late to learn about money.

Our kids (and us big kids too) NEED to get friendly with money.

  • How else can we secure their futures
  • How else can we truly set our children up for success in life
  • How else can we avoid falling for persuasive adverts

Let’s gift our children with the education that we wish we’d had.

With classes suitable for 2 – 11 year olds, award-winning Wizziwoos is tackling this head-on. Our fabulous team of Financial Literacy Pioneers are dedicated to making finance fun for pre and primary school age children. It’s magic!

A different experience for pupils that I would recommend.

The result of the sessions is that they are looking to the future, looking at money and dreaming about their goals.

Very helpful to have a dedicated session to improve a specific area

Financial literacy can be overlooked by falling through the gap between Maths/PSHE. Our KS1 children have learnt new vocabulary and have a better understanding of how employment works. KS2 have learnt about taxes, wages, pensions etc.

Very engaging and well-pitched for the children

Definitely recommend. They enjoy sharing the ways they like to spend money and how money is in a bank. They discuss lots of ways they can make money and where money is when it is part of a bank account.

They now have a better understanding of the financial system

My pupils were probably quite financially unaware with limited understanding of where money comes from or what it is. They now have a better understanding of the financial system and brainstorm ideas for making money.

Our Financial Literacy Programmes

Counting Kids (2-4 years)

Our Counting Kids classes are specifically designed for children aged between 2 and 4. The fun, action-packed classes teach children basic maths skills with a focus on entertainment at all times.

Our loveable mascots Digit and Dot will sprinkle fun and mischief throughout the class while teaching important concepts and introducing pre-schoolers to the magic of numbers.

The classes cover a range of basic mathematical concepts, taught in an engaging way. Each stage is linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Including pattern, space and shape, measures, counting, comparing and composition.

Our Financial Literacy Programmes

Money Monsters (4-7 years)

Our Money Monsters classes are specifically designed for children aged between 4 and 7. With the help of our cheeky mascot Sid the Snake, our interactive lessons teach them about currency, coins, counting skills, saving, spending, needs versus wants, goal setting, and even the joy of giving.

With a focus on practical life skills, we empower children to make wise financial decisions from an early age.

Each stage is linked to the PSHE Key Stage 1 curriculum (theme 2 of Living in the Wider World) including understanding that money comes from different sources, and can be used for different purposes, including spending and saving as well as understanding the part money plays in their lives, including how to keep it safe, making choices about spending or saving, and what influences our choices.

Our Financial Literacy Programmes

Wealth Wizards (7-11 years)

Our Wealth Wizards classes are specifically designed for children aged between 7 and 11.

We incorporate interactive games, colourful visuals, and engaging activities to make financial literacy enjoyable for children.

Each stage is linked to the PSHE Key Stage 2 curriculum (theme 3 of Living in the Wider World), including the role money plays in life, how to manage it, being a critical consumer and developing an initial understanding of interest, loans, debt and tax.
